Okay, I'm trying to expand the website before next year's tournament (www.aaabatournament.com) and part of that is in gather information on the fields.
I know where the current fields are at (I think), but in doing my historical research, I'm finding fields I've never heard of before. Does anyone know where these fields are/were located?
Engh Field Price Memorial Field and I'm sure I'll find more soon.
Also, what is the difference between Roxbury 1, 2 and 3. I mean, I know it's just the different names for the multiple fields at Roxbury, but which field is which?
And they used the name "Roxbury Yards" at one time. Why? Has anyone else ever called it "Roxbury Yards"?
Old photographs are a plus, too. I'll host them if you send them to me.

Engh Field is in Westmont right off of Goucher Street heading towards the Westwood Plaza.
Isn't Price Field Westmont High School's field?
Roxbury 1 is the main field. Roxbury 2 is the field that would share the same outfield fence. Roxbury 3?
Roxbury Yards was used one summer during the AAABA. I bet it was the year Camden Yards opened in Baltimore. No, it didn't stick.

To expand a bit on what knowitall already posted:
I think if you go back in the old AAABA thread someone else mentioned that Price Field is in fact the same Price Field that is the home of Westmont football and track. I have no idea how the field was set up to play baseball though...I'd love to see photos.
Roxbury 1 would most likely be the main field, the only one used there now. I would guess that Roxbury 2 would refer to the field that is closest to the Creamery this was a colt league field when i was playing ball in the early 90s. Shortly thereafter I believe they ripped the grass out of it and the City Men's softball league played there. I'm not sure of Roxbury 3, although it could be the field by the bandshell but I can't imagine that being used for 17-20 year olds, it barely was big enough for Pony Leaguers. I'm only old enough to remember 1 and 2 being used. I can remember there being a gap between the centerfield fences that you could stand out there and watch both games.
I don't ever remember Engh Field used as a AAABA field, always remembered it as a softball field.
I'll try at some point this year to go through some of my folks' old photo albums...I have to do this for a few other projects anyway...if I find any good pics, I'll scan and send your way.
