It does,, and u just dont associate Toledo with nice, esp after seeing that dump they played in forever. I say, no matter what the outside looks like on the inside, the glass still has to be 2ft high, and the the ice the size of an icecube, with no glass btwn the Walleye players and fans.. and in the penalty box, there needs to be a Sheriff Deputy in full riot gear siting by the opposing player inbtwn the crowd.. then it will truly be Toledo

Nobody knows what nice is until you step foot in the historic cambria county war memorial. That was a little sarcastic. I wouldnt trade our building for another though. The war memorial makes the chiefs and the chiefs make the war memorial.

Some would say the War Memorial and Wesbanco are dumps too. That's okay, because we see the history and heritage that comes along with it.
The difference, IMHO, is the fan's attitude. I've heard horror stories about visiting Toledo but never did myseslf... I hope it's not the case. Welcome us, we paid for tickets... I can at least see that as a good thing! Judy

Judy Acutally the WM wouldn't be a dump if the people ho run it just kept it up and kept it clean. Hopefully SMG will do something to change. Despite being 30 plus years old, WesBanco is a pretty well kept nice arena. Only drawback is their loud annoying fans and their goal horn.

I have always enjoyed going to WesBanco as the fans were always pretty well respectful. The only time I had a problem was last season when we went down there and I almost opened up a can of whoop a** on this nailer fan who new nothing about hockey and kept being rude and obnoxious to our players and some fans.

Yeah I get that problem sometimes when I go down there. Only difference is I didn't open up a can of whoop a ** on anyone. No use arguing with a bunch a drunk idiots. You'll never win.

For a building not originally constructed for hockey, WesBanco Arena isn't bad at all.
Wanna visit a dump? Pepsi Fairgrounds Arena in Indianapolis.

Been going to Wheeling since their initial home opener in 1992 and it isn't a bad building except for the endzones where you need almost the front 3 rows to see the whole ice. Never sat higher than the 200 level when there but have sat all over the building. The building is actually very clean and they do have a nice club/restuarant behind the benches where one can get a decent meal before the games. Wheeling did an excellent job getting that facility ready in a short period of time after the move from Winston-Salem(Carolina).
As for the CCWM I agree it is up to the fans but some things need to be taken care of such as having a clue as to the seating arrangements in section 9(espcially row A). You go there and no one has a clue as to how many seats are there and what numbers they are. Great seats but it is like musical chairs down there at times.
